The truth is, I wouldn’t be writing here if it weren’t for all of you: Your subscriptions, likes, comments, and social media shares are what allow me to keep doing the kind of work I want to be doing. For that, I’m eternally grateful. And in light of that support, I want to know what topics you’re most interested in. (Going forward, these suggestion boxes will be for paid subscribers only, but I wanted to keep the discussion open to all for this first one.)
There are still two forthcoming installments left in my Big Media series (one will publish next week, and the other at the end of May). The question is: What should I dig into next? The prison-industrial complex? Corruption in the food industry? Dark money in political campaigning? Pharma lobbying? The federal revolving door? The possibilities are endless. But rather than just choosing my next area of focus based on personal interest, I’d rather get your input.
So, below, feel free to drop a comment and share some topics you’d like me to dig into. If another reader’s suggestion strikes a chord, tap that heart button to “like” it. While I can’t guarantee that I’ll be able to cover every single one, I look forward to reviewing your ideas — and more importantly, investigating the kinds of issues that actually matter to you, and are most relevant to your lives.
Big Pharma lobbying is my #1.
Defense Threat Reduction Agency spending in Wuhan and Ukraine. Everyone points to NIH funding of Wuhan lab, but DTRA was in there first. There are also associated with numerous Ukraine biolabs.

What documents did nypost get this from and why did no one else ever follow up especially now that DTRA projects in Ukraine are under scrutiny due to Russian allegations of bioweapons research?
Very early on in the invasion, when the Russian accusations had barely been made there was a preemptive foray into debunking bioweapons by the current CTRA head Pope.

That is highly suspicious that he was so eager to get out ahead of this story. The article itself is basically "deny, deny, counter accuse, deny" which doesn't exactly strike me as a policy that screams trustworthy.
Hunter Biden invested in Metabiota, which was subcontracting to a major gov contract firm Black and Veatch to do work in Ukraine biolabs for DTRA. A Metabiota employee was in an email chain with Daszak of EcoHealth Alliance in which he urged keeping certain viral sequences out of a database Genbank.

I am just an amateur internet sleuth and it would be great to see a professional journalist address this issue that sits at the nexus of nepotism, corrupt contracting, bioweapons research, and the origin of sars-cov-2.
